My Journey To Becoming A Psychologist

I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I’m human, I’m a person with my own story. I’ve been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.

Motherhood changed the way I see life, death and love. Experiencing losses as part of this motherhood journey changed me. Becoming a parent made me vulnerable and stronger at the same time.

Motherhood is presented as the happiest moment in a woman’s life, and it is indeed… in some way. And at the same time, it can be scary, full of doubts, guilt and can feel lonely, but nobody talks about it.

Getting connected with other women that had been there where I was, and working my way through with self-compassion and the right support has been so important for me. Completing the necessary training and education to effectively treat Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders is my way of giving back to others. These personal and professional experiences have helped me create a safe space for other women who might need my help, just like I needed help at some point in my life.

My life experiences have lead me to become the Psychologist I am today.

Our Sessions Are Focused On You

Psychotherapy sessions will provide you with the space you need and deserve to be understood and heard. In feeling safe and comfortable, you’ll be able to focus on yourself without feeling selfish. You will be able to share your story, find your strength, and move forward to live the kind of life you want.

There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to Psychotherapy services. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. This is your space and this process is about you and for YOU.
